Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the stepIQ platform operated by Ligerian Labs, a brand of Pupuce CORP (EURL), registered in France. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Service description

stepIQ is an AI pipeline builder that lets you chain AI model calls, prompts, and logic into multi-step workflows. The service includes:

• A web-based pipeline editor and dashboard
• A REST API for programmatic access
• Pipeline execution via cloud-hosted workers
• Scheduling, webhook triggers, and output delivery

3. Account registration

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you are using stepIQ on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

4. Credits and billing

stepIQ uses a credit-based billing system. Each pipeline run consumes credits based on the models used and tokens processed.

• Free tier: 100 credits per month, no credit card required
• Pro plan: €49/month with 8,000 credits included
• Enterprise: Custom pricing and credit allocation

Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods. Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase if no credits have been consumed.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored until the end of the current billing period.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use stepIQ to:

• Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or credit limits
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service
• Store or process regulated data (health, financial) without appropriate safeguards
• Use the platform for spam, phishing, or social engineering
• Abuse AI models in violation of their respective provider's acceptable use policies

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

6. Intellectual property

Your content

You retain ownership of your pipeline definitions, prompts, and outputs. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over content you create or process through stepIQ.

Our platform

The stepIQ platform, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is the property of Ligerian Labs. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the platform without permission.

AI-generated output

Ownership of AI-generated content depends on the model provider's terms and applicable law. We recommend reviewing each provider's terms for specifics.

7. Data and privacy

Your use of stepIQ is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Pipeline inputs and outputs are processed by third-party AI model providers. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data flows to these providers.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable advance notice. Free tier accounts are provided on a best-effort basis.

Enterprise plans include SLA guarantees as specified in your service agreement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• stepIQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of AI model outputs

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your settings page. Upon deletion:

• Your pipeline definitions and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
• Active subscriptions will be cancelled (no prorated refunds)
• Any remaining credits are forfeited

We may terminate your account for Terms violations, prolonged inactivity (12+ months on free tier), or at our discretion with 30 days notice.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Angers, France.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms with 30 days notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
